The installed system is designed to produce electricity for the Amazon Warehouse in the port of Jeddah in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a net metering basis connected to the electrical grid provided by SEC (Saudi Electrical Company).

The total capacity of the photovoltaic system is 1.75MWp. The system consists of 3240 Jinko Solar PV modules with a rated power of 540Wp for each.
The mounting system is made of aluminum by Aero Compact Mounting Group.

The DC side is connected to 12 Huawei inverters; Huawei SUN2000- 100KTL-M0. The AC output of the inverters is connected to 4 transformers.
The system was distributed on the rooftop of the warehouse as a roof rails
system.

The project’s main target was to cover most of the electrical consumption and to create a sustainable warehouse producing green energy.
The project was contracted as an EPC project, which included the scopes of plant design; supply of all the plant components with complete logistics management; installation and construction including all electrical, civil and mechanical works; connection to the on-site transformers provided by SEC;
testing and commissioning.
