The Circular Economy Club (CEC) is a global, non-profit network of over 8,000 professionals and organizations from more than 140 countries, united by a shared vision of advancing the circular economy worldwide. 

Founded by Eng. Omar AlSaleh, CEC–Jordan is the first Jordanian Circular Economy Experts Hub, hosted at the Royal Scientific Society (RSS). With more than 800 professional members, CEC–Jordan serves as the national platform driving collaboration, innovation, and circular capacity development across sectors. 

Vision: To position Jordan and the region as frontrunners in the global circular transformation — building a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economy that regenerates value and resources. 

Mission: To accelerate Jordan’s transition towards a circular economy through collaboration, capacity building, and the exchange of knowledge and best practices among experts, policymakers, academia, and the private sector.

Objectives

• Circular Promises Podcast Series – a storytelling and knowledge-sharing platform spotlighting circular innovations and success stories from Jordan and beyond.
• Bi-monthly Articles – expert commentary on circular economy trends, policies, and practices.
• Networking Events – bringing together stakeholders to exchange insights and forge partnerships.
• Capacity Building and Training – tailored programs designed to strengthen institutional and professional circular capacities.
• One-on-one Circular Consultations – advisory sessions to help organizations and entrepreneurs embed circularity into their models.

• Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) – UK-based professional body advancing sustainable resource management and circularity practices. CIWM has acquired CEI and CEC.
• Royal Scientific Society (RSS) – Host institution supporting innovation, research, and sustainability in Jordan.
