Jordan-Iraq electrical connection begins operation
The Director-General of the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), Amjad Rawashdeh confirmed that the Jordanian-Iraqi electrical connection will enter service this week. He stated that the line will connect the Jordanian Risha power plant with the Iraqi Rutba station, operating at 132 kilovolts to supply loads in the Rutba area near the Jordanian border, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
