The project is realized as a roof rails solar farm, on a zero export basis connected to a local monitoring system available on site. 
The main target of the project was to cover the electricity consumption of the Glass Factory in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The total capacity of the photovoltaic system is 1.4MWp. with Jinkosolar PV modules, ABB inverters, Schletter mounting structure and Cableco for AC and DC cables.

The DC Side was connected to 5 main boards which were connected to the control system.
This project was one of the first PV projects in Saudi Arabia and it was built on the top of IKK GLASS Factory.

The project was contracted as an EPC project which included the scopes of plant design; supply of all the plant components with complete logistics management; installation and construction including all electrical, civil and mechanical works; connection to the zero export meter; testing and commissioning.
