Together with its partner STROBL Pumpen (Germany), ITCC executed a special project which entails the design and supply of 6 x 500m3/hr @ 120m Head - API610 Horizontal Overhung Centrifugal Tail-brine Pumps made from exotic material (Titanium Grade 16) for Jordan Bromine Company for Project Eagle.

Some of the key project highlights are complexity in design, strict specifications and short delivery time.

Using exotic material (Titanium Grade 16), STROBL had to design in compliance with API 610 12th edition to achieve a rated flowrate of 500m3/ hr @ 120m Head with a Secondary Operating Point of 650m3/hr.

High quality and long life of course is expected since these pumps are the core of Jordan Bromine’s new expansion project. Hence, 3.2 Certification was needed with high flexibility in design and project management. Even special motors with non-standard features were utilized and derated for 50 Deg.C ambient temperatures with an oversized seal supply system having high capacity and finally, a stainless-steel baseplate to reduce corrosion rate and extend the equipment lifetime.
