Since its establishment in 1996, Vega Fitness Clubs staff have a great passion for the fitness industry and the management is willing to go the extra mile to make its members happier and more satisfied. With many branches in Amman, Vega Fitness Clubs’ need to install a Photovoltaic Systems arose to reduce the electricity bills being paid, and the decision was taken to use renewable energy as a source of electricity.
The 2 MWp project is expected to cover all the electrical needs for the main six branches in Amman in a single location. The project will be operated and maintained by Ishraq Energy. The plant will consist of 6,083 Jinko Solar Polycrystalline panels and 34 Abb inverters. The project will be connected to the medium voltage using two Abb transformers and a full SCADA system according to the regulations.
The plant will be connected according to the Wheeling regulations and is expected to be on-grid at the end of 2018. Abb is expected to provide technical support as the station is built using Abb inverters, circuit breakers, switch gear and transformers. Mounting structure will be fixed using the Ramming method to assure stability and rigidity for the entire project lifetime.
