Al-Amal Hospital

Al-Amal Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology, established in 1982, is one of the most important Jordanian hospitals specialized in its field serving Jordanians, Arabs and foreign patients.

Believing in the importance of using clean energy to save the environment, Al-Amal Hospital decided to be among the first supporters to build an electricity station of renewable energy projects.

Al Amal project is one of the leading projects in the hospital sector. It is under implementation with a target completion date of March 2018, which will be established in Abu Al-iker Basin from Al Salt Governorate. A 585 KWp system of PV panels will be installed on 27461 square meters in Al Salt Governorate to generate electricity under the “Wheeling” system.

The average annual energy production yield from a 585 KWp system is approximately 912600 KWh. Given this yield, the CO2 savings will be 638.9 ton per year.
