Tera Watt Energy Consultants and Middle East University sign a collaboration agreement.
Middle East University has entered into a collaboration with Jordan Tera Watt, an energy consultancy company, under which engineering students will be trained after completing at least 115 hours of study.
This agreement supplements the university’s objective of equipping students with the requisite skills to become proficient practitioners who can effectively contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions, thereby facilitating collaboration between academia and industry.
Jordan-Iraq electrical connection begins operation
The Director-General of the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), Amjad Rawashdeh confirmed that the Jordanian-Iraqi electrical connection will enter service this week. He stated that the line will connect the Jordanian Risha power plant with the Iraqi Rutba station, operating at 132 kilovolts to supply loads in the Rutba area near the Jordanian border, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The partnership between Aldar and Yellow Door Energy was signed by Salwa Al Maflahi, Aldar's Director of Sustainability and Community Outreach and Rory McCarthy, Chief Operating Officer of Yellow Door Energy.
